We are the Swiss experts for dental implants. As a Swiss manufacturer, we develop and produce systems for dental prostheses that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Thommen Medical is an independent family business.
The success of our customers is always our top priority.
Since the beginning, we have been committed to a single goal: to produce the best possible dental implant system – which is all we do. The result is a unique dental
implant system that combines Swiss quality, simplicity
and an innovative design, based on over 35 years of
clinical experience.
INTEGUARD® Matrix
For fast osseointegration
Faster osseointegration is promoted by the implant surface INICELL which is the superhydrophilic state of the proven sandblasted and hermal acid-etched implant surface.
EVERGUARD® Connection
Designed for long-term mechanical stability
The EVERCUARD Connection with an internal hex and external stabilization ring, ensures optimal long-term mechanical stability of the implant abutment connection.
TISSUEGUARD® Collar
For a gentle approach to the soft tissue
The TISSUECUARD Collar encourages soft tissue adaptation to prevent hone loss and allows for surgical lexibility if needed.
Different Implant Designs – a Single Surgical Procedure.
ELEMENT
The parallel-walled universal implant.
CONTACT
The conical-cylindrical implant for extraction sockets and specific anatomical situations.
Three Collar Heights
Individual Soft Tissue Management
MC – Minimized Collar
A thin gingiva or limited vertical space for the prosthetic restoration often require a crestal implant position.
Excellent results can be achieved with MC implants even in the esthetically demanding anterior region.
RC – Regular Collar
The distance between the implant position and bone helps to respect the biological structures.
With RC implants, naturally esthetic results are easily achieved.
LC – Long Collar
In the edentulous jaw an uneven gingival height often requires a longer neck height.
LC implants are ideally suited for transgingival use in hybrid prosthetics.
Advantages for Your Clinical Practice
1. Stabilization in the axial direction
The precise axial positioning of the abutment on the implant shoulder reliably prevents the axial discrepancy that occurs with conical connections.
2. Stabilization in the lateral direction
The stabilizing ring provides optimal mechanical stability and reduces micromovements at bone and soft tissue level.
3. Smooth transition between Abutment and Implant Neck
The exact fit of abutment and implant allows for easy probing on the one hand and optimal cleanability on the other.
4. High Surface Pressure
The slightly chamfered contact surface of the abutments results in high surface pressure in the marginal area and the best possible seal against body fluids.
